PEARL OF THE CROSS

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish, foolishness; but unto us which are saved, it is the power of God . 1 Cor.1:18 Just a mention of the word, “cross”, the next name that readily comes to mind is Jesus. This is basic, however, there is more to it. A large number of people are aware of the cross, but very few have sojourned to that old rugged cross. Those in this category are really lost, because until you are saved, you are not safe. It is to them that Paul said, “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish, foolishness; but unto us which are saved, it is the power of God”. Jesus Christ is the central theme of the cross, except He’s your Lord and Saviour, the Pearl of the cross for you may be far fetched. The Pearl of the cross connotes that which is very precious and highly valued about the cross. THE UNLIMITED GOD

But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. Psalms 115:3 There are gods. As a matter of fact, there are different kinds of them. These gods are all the works of men. Just like man is limited, the gods made by him also is limited. However, there is a God who was never made by any man, as a matter of fact, He created all things. He’s the uncreated creator. Because He’s unlimited, He said in Jeremiah 32:27, Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? The unlimited God has no origin. Because He has no begining and no end, He’s called the begining and the end. If you think your challenges are insolvable, all you need to do is to consult the unlimited God. “Unlimited”, means without boundararies or restrictions.
