Rubies can be likened to a jewel, a rare treasure, something very rare to find. What makes you far above rubies is because you are virtuous, that is, “full of virtues”. Some of these virtues are: knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly kindness, charity. To you who is virtuous, thereby becoming far above rubies, the bible says, “who can find?”. People are in search for your kind of person, particularly men. Any man who finds you, among so many men seeking and searching for you, is considered “ Mr. Most Fortunate ”. Therefore, you are not supposed to debase yourself at all; not for any reason or for anyone.
