That you are reading this implies that you are alive. That you are living is more than enough reason for you to thank God. To all living souls out there, we say 'Happy New Month'. It will be one of the most memorable ones you have had thus far.
It is no longer news that the world is on a lock down due to Corona Virus Infectious Diseases (COVID-19). The number of infections, and mortality continue to rise at an alarming rate. We commiserate with those who have lost loved ones. We pray that God grants them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss. For those who are infected, we wish them quick recovery so that they could be integrated back into the society.
It has been widely circulated that using alcohol-based hand sanitizers, or washing your hand with soap and water for more than twenty seconds, avoid touching your nose, eye, and mouth, the use of nose mask, sneezing into your elbow, self-isolation if asymptomatic, reporting symptoms of fever and other health concerns to health authorities, as well as social distancing is the way to go in the times we are in. This has made government of nations around the world to shut their borders, as well as issuing a stay at home order to their citizens with the exception of those on essential services.
Obviously the stay at home order has far reaching effect. Since the discovery and spread of COVID-19, the world has continued to be impacted in some ways. How individuals, families, organizations, and nations handle this 'crises' and its paraphernalia would have far reaching effect on the world at large.
The efforts of government and its agencies across the world at fighting COVID-19 is commendable. Similarly, the contributions of good-spirited individuals, organizations, as well as religious bodies to halt the spread of the dreaded COVID-19 is highly appreciated. At this point in time, nothing is too small and nothing is too big. Like one of the world leaders hinted: proper coordination of these scarce resources for effective utilization is necessary so that they could reach those who actually needs them. The very act of giving shows that as a people we can love and be loved. Better still we are to love and be loved.
In the next couple of days, we will be having a discuss on how to navigate through the times we are in so as to be better positioned when this phase gives way to another.

Stay connected.
